Round 3......

A record number of riders for Round 3 when 101 turned up. However firstly an apology to Marie Lynn who I managed to get as finishing 4th in her RR in Round 2 when actually she was about 15 bike lengths clear, numbers got mixed up.
Road race positions were 5 lap race, 1st Matthew Lynn, 2nd Toby Tanfield, 3rd Peter Dawson; 4 lap race, 1st James Morris, 2nd Lewis Dolan, 3rd Joe Nozedar; 3 lap race, 1st Roshan Parker Mian, 2nd Ben White, 3rd Ryan Hesler; 2 lap race 1st Francis Nozedar, 2nd Isabella Montague, 3rd Daniel Saba; 2 small laps race 1st Abigail Wilson, 2nd Daniel Thompson, 3rd Tim James
TT winners were 1st Danny Field, 69.40 2nd Matthew Lynn 69.90 3rd Reece Hesler 72.30 which included a 9 sec beating of his PB. The biggest improvement out of the 50 PB's went to Hollie Cerrah 17.60 better.
The skills section saw Toby Tanfield, Connor Eyeington and Zac Raw finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in times of 22 secs, 26 secs and 27 secs.

A warm bright night saw 81 riders for round 2 of the 18th series League 2000.
Plenty of fast and furious racing saw 48 PB's in the Time Trial with Tim James' 29.30 sec beating being the best. The fastest rider was Matthew Lynn 70.50 secs Matthew Dobbing came in 2nd 74.60 secs Peter Dawson 3rd 74.90 secs.
Skills winner Connor Eyeington covered the course in 32 secs with Toby Tanfield 2 secs behind and Kacey Eyeington in 45 secs.
Road race winners were Toby Tanfield in the 5 lap event with Alexandia Rimmer and Samantha Verrill close behind in 2nd and 3rd. The 4 lap event had Lewis Dolan as winner Joe Nozedar 2nd and Harrison Lee 3rd. 3 lap race Ben Etherington was 1st with Charlie Savill and Joel Hurt close in the sprint. 2 laps Cody Lee was a clear winner 2nd placed Beth Officer was just clear of Isabella Montague in 3rd. 89 riders for round 1 of series 18 of the League 2000, weather conditions were warm and dry although judging got a bit hard in the dark at 9pm!!
Equal 1st in the skills for Toby, Angus and Aaron, TT winner was Matthew Lynn 72 secs with Joe Gubbins .20 secs behind with Aaron 3rd. An excellent turn out of 90 riders brought a record breaking League 2000 to an end on 9th September.
Matthew Lynn, Elliot Davidson, Toby Tanfield were 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the 5 lap race, The 4 lap event saw Dan Charlton, Ross Turner, Connor Eyeington in the same positions. Joshua Charlton, Joe Nozedar, Arran Brown in the 3 lapper, with Betty Berstrand, Beth Officer and Daisy Freer an all girl 1, 2, 3 in the 2 lap event. The final two small laps of this years series went to Bethany Jeff, with Abigail Wilson 2nd and Tim James 3rd.
Skills winner was Elliot Davidson in 22 secs with Angus Brown 2nd and Aaron Preston 3rd. Time trial winner Declan Bowler in 72. 3 secs with Andrew Howe and Matthew Lynn tying for 2nd in 74.9. Only two PB's Daniel Fields improvement of 1.5 secs being the biggest. Jack Brearly the other improver 0.6 secs
Some figures 146 different riders produced a total of 1011 rides an average of 84 riders per night. Many thanks to all helpers through out the year we wouldn't be able to put the series on if it wasn't for you all.

On what was possibly the best night of this years series only 61 riders took part in Round 11 of the League 2000. Racing was again very competitive. Matthew Lynn outsprinting Aaron Preston and Toby Tanfield in the 5 lapp race, the 4 lap event went to Connor Eyeington with Ross Turner and Henry Demoily in close attendance. 3 Lap race went to Joseph Brown, Jack Warne holding onto 2nd and Arran Brown 3rd. 2 laps saw Joel Hurt out in front, Connor Fielding, Eloise Hatton 2nd and 3rd. The small race Tim James victorious in front of Sean Dolan and Phoebe Wilson
Time Trial winner was newcomer Lyle Carter who produced the fastest ride of the year with a time of 66.70 seconds. Declan Bowler 2nd fastest, 71.10 secs, with Harry Beal 71.30 making his seasonal debut in 3rd. Biggest improvement went to Bethany Jeff by 28 secs. Round 10 League 2000 had 71 riders battling out the three stages. The rain held away but the night was a little breezy which saw only 8 riders breaking their PB's in the time trial including the nights winner Elliot Davidson who recorded a time of 72.1 secs. 2nd place was Andrew Howe with Matthew Lynn 3rd. A difficult skills stage saw only 3 riders not gaining any penalties. Angus Brown beating Elliot and Andrew into 2nd and 3rd. The greatest improvement, by 24 secs, on the night saw Lydia Kelly bringing her PB down to 293 secs.
The 5 lap race provided a very tight finish, which after checking the video, saw Aaron Preston inching home in front of Elliot with Declan Bowler 3rd. The 4 lap event went the way of Cameron Thompson beating Hugo Lutz-Atkinson and Reece Hesler. Joe Nozedar was clear in the 3 lap race Ben Bergstrand coming in 2nd with Nathan Sefton 3rd. Issy Montague victorious in the 2 lap event Jack Warne and Abigail Slack 2nd and 3rd. The two small laps winner Tim James elizabeth Warne and Phoebe Wilson 2nd and 3rd

Thunder and lightning and really heavy rain greeted the 66 riders for round 9 of the League 2000. Despite this the TT produced 25 personnel bests with Daniel Thompson knocking 30 secs off his time. Aaron Preston was fastest rider in 71.3 secs beating Elliot Davidson by 4 secs and Joe Gubbins a further 2 secs in arrears. The road races went to Elliot Davidson in the 5 lap with Aaron Preston and Joe Wilson 2nd and 3rd. Henry Demoliy was clear winner of the 4 lap
Harrison Lee and Lewis Dolan 2nd and 3rd. Patrick Kilcullen took the 3 lap in front of Isabella Montague and Arran Brown. Beth officer took the 2 lap event from Abigail Slack and Kacey Eyeington and the two small laps went to Sean Dolan with Megan Thom and Abigail Wilson 2nd and 3rd.
Angus Brown was victorious in the skills in a clear time of 22 secs with Connor Eyeington 1 sec behind and will Blenkinsop 3rd.

A warm but breezy night welcomed the 88 riders for round 8 of the League 2000. Our fame travels far as we also welcomed two riders from Edinburgh RC.
The 5 road races once again provided excellant racing with the placings going to, 5 lap 1 Matthew Lynn, 2 Aaron Preston 3 Toby Tanfield in a very close finish after the majority of the riders come in together. The 4 lap race went to Evie Montague who beat Ross Turner into 2nd with Henry Demoliy 3rd. 3 lap winner was Laura Kotch with Jack Brearly 2nd and Zac Raw 3rd. Issy Montague was also successful in the 2 lap race after one of our visitors went off course, Rachel James coming in 2nd and Joel Hurt 3rd. Daniel Thompson headed the two small laps race Elizabeth Warne and Beth Officer taking the next two places..

The nights winners were
Elliot Davidson 5 lap RR, Henry Demoliy 4 lap RR, Zac Raw 3 lap RR, Beth Officer 2lap RR and the two small laps went to Abigail Wilson.
TT winner Joe Gubbins, biggest improvement Daniel Thompson and skills winner Elliot Davidson.
The nights winners were
Elliot Davidson 5 lap RR, Henry Demoliy 4 lap RR, Zac Raw 3 lap RR, Beth Officer 2lap RR and the two small laps went to Abigail Wilson.

An <u><strong>amazing 96 riders</strong></u> for the sixth round in this years League 2000, will we break the 100 mark?
Some very close finishes in the handicap RR The 5 lap race Declan Bowler coming from the back mark just catching Elliot Davidson to claim victory, Matthew Lynn 3rd. Henry Demoliy continued his winning ways in the 4 lap race outsprinting Will Blenkinsop and Lewis Dolan, The 3 lap event Patrick Stockwell powered to victory with Patrick Kilcullen and Arran Brown 2nd and 3rd. Daisy Freer saw the girls claiming victory in the 2 lap race, beating Beth Officer and Joel Hurt, however the tighest finish of the night was the two small laps which saw Elizabeth Warne and Tim James equal 1st Sam Dixon 3rd.
The skills winner over a difficult course was Elliot in a time of 26 seconds with Aaron Preston and Angus Brown tying for 2nd 2 seconds behind.
