Round 11...
December 26, 2016
A Lovely night weather wise, yes we do get them, saw only 54 riders competing in the penultimate round of this years League 2000 series. Once again excellent racing the time trial having an unusual finish with Connor Eyeington and Toby Tanfield tying for the top spot with a time of 72.60 Aaron Preston 0.10 behind in 3rd. William Horlock 32 secs beating of his PB was the best improvement, another 9 riders also breaking their bests.
A difficult skills also saw the only two clear rounds coming out on top with Connor Eyeington's winning time of 27 secs and Zac Raw 2nd in 35 secs. However it was a case of keep it in the family with Zac's cousin Aaron Preston and Connor's sister Kacey finishing joint 3rd in 36 secs,
The closest finish of the night in the RR's came in the 5 lap Aaron Preston just edging out Toby Tanfield to win Ross Turner a very close 3rd. The 4 lap was a more clear cut affair Innes Hill victorious ahead of Cody Lee with Tyler Kinghorn coming in 3rd. Special mention for U8's Matthew White (5th) and his closest rival Daniel Thompson both in the 4 lapper.
3 Laps went to newcomer Oliver Gatenby, a couple lengths ahead of Lauchlan Hill in 2nd Josh Horton
finishing 3rd. Josh Jewitt was 1st across the line in the 2 lap race Rhuari Hill was a close 2nd and Sean Dolan coming in 3rd. 2 small laps winner was Daniel Hume with the Thom sisters finishing 2nd (Megan) and 3rd (Daisy)
