Round 9 of the League 2000 saw 67 riders enter on what was to start a lovely evening but ended up in a heavy storm.
With 3 rounds left in the Under 16 group Alex Stainsby can not be caught. The Under 14 group is the closest with 3 riders within 40 pts. Harry and Charlie Tanfield lead the next two age categories with 100% records, this is a continuation from last year again when they both had 100% scores.
Aaron Preston also has 100% in the Under 8's.

Also congratulations to former League 2000 rider David Daniel who became European Junior Sprint Champion over the weekend , he was also 3rd in the Keirin and 2nd in the Team Sprint.

Rd6 Hit by drifting smoke....

June 8, 2007
70 riders for round 6 of the League 2000
All the overall leaders consolidated their places tonight with all winning their respective age categories. However the round was cut short before the road races started as a tyre fire on the opposite side of the A66 was sending a thick blanket of smoke over the circuit . So tonights result stands on the time trial and skills test only.

The next round is June 18th
