<br />Just a note to let you know that last night Saturday David was a member of the Team Sprint three who beat Australia in the final of the World Championship in Belguim, breaking the record on the way. He rides the Kilo today.

<br /><br />David Daniell's dad has just been on the phone to tell me that David has just won the Kilo TT at the European Championships in Athens with a 1.04. 2nd Place was Jason Kenny 3 seconds behind.<br /><br /> David was a member of the victorous Team Sprint team last night (Wed) So the League 2000 has a new hero.<br /><br /><strong>Submitted by Steve B</strong>

<br />63 riders turned out for week 8 of the League 2000.<br /> Biggest improvement in the 1 lap TT was George Potter by 10.14 seconds.<br /> <strong>Round 9 is in two weeks 10th July.</strong><br />

Harry Tanfield continues his winning streak

<br />Congratulations to Harry Tanfield in winning the BC Northern circuit race series. There were three rounds, Hetton, Bradford and Preston and Harry won all three events. Just for good measure Harry also won the Horwich Town Centre criterium on Sunday aswell.<br /><br /><strong>Submitted by Steve B</strong>

<br />54 riders competed in week 6 of the League 2000. <br /><br />Warm weather contributed to 40 riders doing personal best in the one lap tt including a new course record for the man of the moment <strong>Richard Meadows</strong> in 1min 06.23 secs. <br /><br />Round 7 next monday June 19th

New additions to the site....

<br /><br />You can now choose your own theme for the site from the drop down list on the lower left. <br /><br />Not all have League 2000 logos yet... I will ask Panic to knock up a few different graphic for the various themes...<br /><br />Some have better rendering then others, the calendar looks better on some where as the forum looks better on others. <br /><br />Have fun..... that's what the League 2000 is about and so is this site. <br />
