League 2000 Rd 9
Calm and warm conditions greeted the 89 riders for Round 9 of this years series. Little did we know that by the time the road races commenced we would have heavy rain. We did miss the thunder storm though.

The calm conditions for the TT lead to 21 PB's in the time trial the biggest being Seb Peacock's 11 second improvement. The fastest three were Connor Ali 69.3, Lewis Dolan 72.1 and Euan Sanderson 74.8. In the skills we had a thrre way tie at the top Ben Etherington,
Daniel Thompson, Kacey Eyeington all recording 38 seconds.

Then the rain started

The 5 lap RR went to Ben Etherington ahead of 2nd placed Thomas Godber and 3rd placed Euan Sanderson in a close sprint. A bit more clear cut in the 4 lap race with Owen Massey crossing the line as victor Aiden Colmer coming 2nd ahead of Millie Burgess. 3 Laps went to Lewis Maynard in another close sprint, Alex Marr and Ewan Whiting finishing 2nd and 3rd. 2 Laps was again Harvey Simpson'
Ethan S-Willis claiming 2nd and Claudia Davies 3rd.

The small lap event went to Luke Shipton who was well clear of Rebecca Walker and 3rd placed newcomer Naomi Green
